About

àmesure is a collective created by Emma and Sophie, two experienced science communicators and designers that wanted to bring a more tailored and meaningful experience to life science communication. With 10+ years’ experience, the two have seen what works, what doesn’t, and what is missing from what is out there on the market.

Time is one thing, but variety is another. Sophie and Emma both have qualifications in biology and first-hand lab experience. This means you don’t have to get them up to speed on your science, they already have more than the basics. The team behind àmesure have also worked with international organisations spanning from France to Japan to the US to multinational projects. This reach around the globe also means they understand that nuance and local connection can make the difference when working internationally.

What is "à mesure" ?

In French, we do things “au fur et à mesure” which can roughly be translated as “step-by-step”. But for us, àmesure means three things:

(1) Time: We adapt our timeline to your needs

(2) Adaptability: Not too much not too little.

(3) Understanding: Each project is unique and tailored. We listen first and communicate after.

We were scientists (in biology) that became communicators. This means you don’t need to give us a science lesson, we’re already with you.

We work directly with you and take the time necessary, preferring quality over speed.

We work with biotechs, life sciences organisations, science publication houses, international projects, academic/training institutions (MOOCs), research laboratories & vetrinary/agrifood companies. Our clients range from start-ups looking for investors to established businesses undergoing a rebranding or long-standing institutions that need an external point of view.

Certainly not! We can work with organisations all over the world (& have done before). Our team has experience in projects from many locations & different cultures, from Japan to the US to France & all around Europe.
